An author, illustrator and artist living and working in London. Siobhain Hill was born in Toronto, Canada as an O'Shea. She is married with three children. She has been writing short stories and poetry since 1984.
Siobhain Hill has also worked as a graphic artist since 1984. After formal training as a paste-up artist in her Aunts studio, Siobhain trained in using Apple macs and software. Her freelance work took off in 1986 producing CD and album artwork plus logos and stationery while working for Alphagraphics in Holborn, London. Then as a freelance graphic artist for a studio in Putney working for clients such as Mercury Telecommunications and Rimmel. Siobhain also worked for printers in a trade capacity and produced signs for Virgin Megastores amongst others. She worked for one of the countries leading PR consultancies in High Holborn and then the West Halkin Street office of Hill & Knowlton (although of the same name no connection). She worked for Emap Maclaren as an Art Editor on trade publications such as Menswear, British Baker and Security Gazette. After having her sons, Siobhain went onto produce packaging design, write advertising copy, produce exhibitions, PR and marketing for the UK Dental industry.
After setting up an on-line lingerie retail store, Siobhain continued to write copy, blogs, product descriptions and designed websites for clients and then moved onto interior design.
She embarked upon her first novel in November 2007. The Land of Lost Thoughts. Completed in 2010, it is her first complete novel and follows years of poetry writing and artwork. Siobhain currently writes for Demand Media and Suite101 as a freelance article writer.

Her black ink illustrations are seen within the book and more are in progress for an exclusive 2012 calendar.
Her most recently published work is 'Work in progress; Little's changed or has it?' an anthology of poetry, art and Siobhain's own concept of PoetryArt®. It contains a retrospective of artwork from the mid-1980s and current artworks.
